I guess it would be nice to update on whats been happening since I last posted. We had a maternity photoshoot while Erick had pre-deployment block leave and they came out Great!!! Here is one of my favorite photos:
At the end of October Erick left to Afghanistan for his second a final deployment. It was such a sad day for us, but I have to say that I'm proud of myself for keeping it together. When the buses arrived and Erick came to give me a kiss goodbye he started to cry which made ME cry!!!Today will be three weeks since he left and I'm praying that time continues to fly by. I miss him so much and I am constantly praying for his safety along with the other guys that left with him.
Currently I'm trying to buy the last things that I need for the baby. I bought her the car seat and stroller. I love them!!!
Next was the crib!! I had such a hard picking it out. We already had a crib that one of my cousins was giving us, but once Erick went to pick it up I just did not see our baby in there. Don't get me wrong, Im thankful that they gave us the crib, but it just wasn't what I wanted for the baby. So I went to Babies R Us and purchased the crib along with the dresser/changing table:
I'm still in search of the diaper bag, and the only place that I have found a good selection and at a good price is Walmart's website! who knew!
