More Baby News!!!

I had another doctor's appointment today. It's one that they check to see if the baby is at risk of having down syndrome. It's an option for the parents to take this test. Although the risk is higher when the mom is older than 30, I wanted to go ahead and take it since my insurance is paying for it. Part of the test was an ultrasound!!! this I didn't know , I thought that they were just going to draw blood out and that was it, but to my surprise I was able to see my baby once again! When the tech started to see the baby, I could see how much the baby had grown in just two weeks. He/she was still for a while and we were able to hear and see the little heart beating..soo precious. All of the sudden, the baby starts to move all over the place! her little feet where pushing her up and she was touching her face. The tech got a real close look at the baby and I could see how the baby opened and close her little tiny hand. I inmediately lost it and started to cry! I haven't felt my baby yet, I have only felt the side effects of the pregnancy i.e. MORNING SICKNESS, but when I saw her move it just melted my heart and it made it all so much more real. I just wished Erick could have been with me.
